About the Book

This traditional tale illustrated in a contemporary style, is one of true love and friendship. The main character, The Toy Sailor, demonstrates the obstacles we face in life and how, through his adoration and love for the Queen Doll we can learn to overcome the barriers in our own unique way and surpass them with the help of our loyal friends. When the couple are separated, The Toy Sailor hatches a plan and employs the help of the other toys in the playroom to save the Queen Doll. In this tale of love, betrayal and adventure, The Toy Sailor struggles against time to save the Queen from an unfortunate fate. He encounters all sorts of barriers and incidents but forges on ahead with determination and his quest for true love. This tale will teach children about empathy, morals, how important it is to take risks in life, and of course the happy ending will enable them to fall asleep peacefully content that their hero saves his companion.
