And there’s no respite for Russian speaker Ball as he is persuaded to go on a dangerous mission to help set up a network of spies along Ukraine’s eastern border. But perhaps it’s one assignment too many for the semiretired intelligence officer.

About the Author

Duncan Pell is English and grew up near London. During a long career in business, he lived and worked in the United Kingdom, Netherlands, France, Dubai, and Ukraine. He is now based in Ras al-Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates. There he concentrates on writing. In his spare time, he travels, sails, and plays golf. Much More Than a Game is his third novel. He is a former playing member and chairman of Cheam Cricket Club in Surrey. He has been a member of Middlesex County Cricket Club for many years and gets to watch a few of the club’s home games at Lords each summer.
