About the Book

Each of these poems reflect different times and feelings in my life, and provide a glimpse of the environment or my state of mind at that point. This poems should be read with an open mind and could be interpreted in various ways depending on the culture of the reader.

About the Author

Adepeju Anthonia Ategbole was born in Lagos, Nigeria in1945 to Prince Isaiah Oguntola Balogun and Princess Victoria Moyeke Balogun. She is third of five children from her mother. She lost her mother at age fourteen and had to leave with several people at different times. This experience was invaluable as she develop resilience. She married her sweet heart in 1974 and they are blessed with four children and seven grandchildren. She managed her husband’s medical clinic when her children were young. She later opened and managed a pharmacy. Her life is dedicated to helping people, educating the under privileged, adopting widows. She currently resides in the United States with her first daughter and continues to write, give arms, help people and help to raise her granddaughters.
