About the Book

Mister Runkle is a young and playful French bulldog living on the bank of the River Thames. One day, he goes out in search of some friends to play with, but he very soon starts to realise that he is not like other dogs—in more ways than one. He makes a wish to go on a life-changing adventure, but will his wish come true?

About the Author

The authors, Debbie Eleyne and Karl Ryan met in 2012 and live together with their two wonderful French bulldogs. Mister Runkle joined the family at just eight weeks old, and Lady Bella was adopted when she was ten months old. The two have been inseparable ever since. This is Debbie and Karl’s first book together, inspired by and based upon their charismatic Frenchies. It tells a simple story about why we should never judge anyone by their looks. Appearance is only skin (or fur) deep and what matters most of all, in all of us, is a kind heart. You can follow the adventures of the real Frenchies through social media.
