I want to share one of the many experiences I have had while working with Child Evangelism Fellowship. Our main ministry is to have weekly Good News Clubs where we share the Gospel with the children of the neighbourhood. For nine years I had one such club at my home.
One particular week, as I was busy preparing for the club, I became aware that God was asking me to change the program. He wanted me to do a specific lesson. The later it became, the more pressing the need to change the program. Because I was working with a friend, I eventually phoned and asked if she would mind if I changed the program at the last minute. Of course, because God was already busy organising everything behind the scenes, she immediately agreed.
That afternoon, there were about 40 children who attended the club. After the lesson, 8 children stayed behind to accept Jesus as their Saviour.
Two weeks later, I received some terrible news. One of the little girls who regularly attended the club, had been killed in a car accident together with her father. She was six years old and had just started going to school.
As you can imagine, I was very upset. I immediately asked God: "Did we make a difference in her life?" "Where is she now?" What I heard God say to my spirit next just confirmed what I already know about our mighty God.
He had known before hand what would happen and He had made a way. God reminded me of that afternoon that He had urged me to change the program at the last minute. And He said to me: "She was one of the eight who accepted Jesus as her Saviour that afternoon." Praise the Lord! He knew! She was safe in His loving arms. I realised then that God will go to great lengths so that one child can be saved.

About the Book
If Tomorrow Never Comes is about helping parents to realize their responsibility for the spiritual education of their children. More often than not, parents are only concerned with the physical care of their children and give little or no consideration for their spiritual needs. Many parents think that their young children are not able to understand spiritual truths or even worse, don't need to know about such things while they are still small. The Word of God is very clear about the need for every person, young or old, to have the opportunity to hear the Gospel and have the chance to receive eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. This applies to children as well. Matthew 18:14 says: Even so it is not the will of your Father in heaven that any of these little ones should be lost. Every person whol dies without Christ is lost forever. This book is about helping parents to share the Gospel with their young children and giving them the opportunity to receive Christ as their Saviour. By doing this they will be able to have peace of mind of knowing that their child is in the presence of God should the unthinkable happen and their child die.
About the Author
Jane was born in Manchester England and moved to South Africa in 1964 with her parents and sister. She has been married to her husband David for 29 years and together they have four children. In 1989 Jane accepted Jesus Christ as her Saviour and since then has been trying to live a life pleasing to God. She also has a passion that others, especially children, should know His love for them and have the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Saviour. In 1995 Jane experienced the call of God to become involved with child evangelism. For the past nine years she has been working with Child Evangelism Fellowship as a child evangelist and instructor of teachers. She is also often invited to speak at seminars and conferences about the importance of reaching children with the Gospel. It is her dream to see as many children as possible enter the kingdom of God.
