About the Book
This book, THE SECRET OF BEDSIDE MANOR is a spoof horror story, about an old mansion, 'Bedside Manor' which has been bought by a wealthy businessman, Wealthy Elfy, - but it is haunted by a witch and an ASTHMATIC vampire, - who turns into a bat - a CRICKET bat!
It involves, too, a private investigator and his dog, a modern couple, a wizard, Gib Quentin,an ancient knight, Hinney Gelding, and the love of his life, Princess Delissa of Stratelli. It seems like a scary tale, but it's really a fairy tale - with a difference and a barrowload of laughs.
About the Author
Pete Perry is 71, and is marrying his 34-year-old fiancee, Nikki Heydon on Good Friday, April 10th 2009, and this is already attracting media attention. Pete has been writing books since the Sixties, and also writes environmental and horticultural articles and short stories for magazines. He is also an artist who illustrates his own books and articles, a gardener and environmentalist, and runs his own website, called widgeripoo, which you can Google!
He and Nikki are also supporting artistes for TV and movies. Their motto in life is 'Every new day brings a new adventure'.
