T+Albinos (Tyrosinase positive albinos), also known as caramel albinos are very interesting looking; their body colour is a light, buttery yellow to a pale orange. Their eyes are green and their pupils black, their belly colour is the same as to normals, mother-of-pearl. This mutation is simple recessive, it is caused by an inability to synthesize Melanin (black pigment), but an ability to synthesise Tyrosinase (the enzyme that breaks tyrosine into melanin.)
This mutation has been crossed into Anerythrism and produced T+Snows. I have also crossed it to Patternless and have some F1 hatchlings growing on; they should breed during the 2011 season. This mutation has also been crossed into T-Albinism, no albino offspring hatched and thus it can be concluded that these are 2 separate mutations, like Sharp and Kahl strain albino boas.
