Memoirs of a Revolutionare: Days of War.

Chapter 1 May 3, 2345 I hardly know where to begin. It seems as if one day the war began and our lives changed forever. I can only hope that future generations will remember these years of darkness not as the bloody war that it was, but as the pivotal stage of humanity in which no one was left behind. I guess I'll begin with the start of the Third World war. The year was 2050, humanity enveloped itself in a war that lasted about 15 years and almost resulted in the extinction of our species. After the war ended the few world leaders left sought to prevent this from happening ever again and created the United Nations of Earth, one world government. The next generation went even further and eliminated any division between humans, the most important of which was the banning of religion. The Earth underwent a period of reconstruction and a capitalist system was made supreme. However, the Earth had begun to exhaust its resources and humanity was forced to look outward into space. Thankfully a planet suitable for life was found almost 20 years before; all that was left was the means to get there. By 2090 technology was advanced enough to fly ships to the "New Earth" in five years. I was born on April 13, 2305 on the outermost planet of the UNE, Celestia, which was the 9th planet colonized by human beings. I was the son of a senator and a nurse so I had the opportunity to go to college. After studying in college for 4 years I joined the army. To this day I don't know why, maybe because I had an older brother who was a captain or because my father recommended it, but whatever the reason, this is where my part in history comes in.
