Carine is a Canadian citizen originated from Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. She was born in 1983 from a catholic family of four children. She is the first child and the only girl. With a heart of a lamb, and her unconditional love and care for the others, she has encountered numerous people that used her emotionally, traumatized her, bullied her, ruined her reputation, sexually assaulted her and physically abused her from the very young age of 4. As a result, she has long have difficulties trusting friends, bonding with people, socializing, few suicidal attempts, fear for everything, and low self-esteem. Throughout intense pain from her past, her dark side that she tried to run away from, and she attempted to forget the past; but she couldn’t. Finally, she did revealed all of her troubled past to her now husband, Kuzi Mapish and her young brother Eric, both of them helped her through encouragement to speak and spread the story that others could relate to; perhaps help others in needs. Dirty Sex Crime is a book written by Carine Mapish who relates her story to other victims. The purpose of the book is to help others to come along and talk publicly about their trauma and speak the truth. It doesn’t matter the religion you take part of, no matter your race and culture; when you have been or you are a victim of rape, sexual harassment, molestation, and all other subject related to such crime, you have to talk about it.
