About the Book

The book shows a Roman boy living in Rome. It is a time-actual story with inspiration from Romany culture and Italian roman culture history. The story describes images from the life of the boy, Pontus, in today’s Rome but takes the reader back on a time-travel-like adventure. Illustrations are from arts and seek the reader’s attention from a child’s point of view. The book’s showing of the Romany culture explores a people group with unique way of life in today.

About the Author

Sandra Aastreom is a Swedish first-time published author with a family in Sweden. Ms Aastroem has a career in the field of social work in Sweden, where having worked in different areas of social work, such as migration, child and family care, and care for homeless.
