About the Author

Ameedah Mawalin, whose aliases are Ramona Sapphire and Bodi, was born and raised in Chicago’s multi-cultural Hyde Park neighborhood. She enjoys writing short stories and novels on assorted topics based on experience, research, and, overall, imagination. She admits she’s a bit eccentric and quirky. Many of her stories comprise an element of inspiration and are outrageous, raunchy, mysterious, bizarre, insightful, or even simple, to say the least. Recently added to her repertoire of genres is spoof and cringe humor. Her fiction writing journey began in the early nineties. Additionally, Ameedah has been a spoken-word artist and performer since 1996 and dishes out a mean cup of coffee to her audiences upon popular demand. This signature piece is entitled Midnight Brew. She has written, performed, and sold several volumes of poetry since 1996. Ameedah can be found on Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, and other online media. Her website is www.sapphirewithpassion.com.
