Carry-On, a hilarious fictional story about passengers traveling on an interstate train, bus, and plane who manage to get their carry-ons switched, is a roller coaster of twists and turns. Kenna, an attractive thirtyish woman with two school-aged children believes her husband, James, is cheating on her. Molly is suspected to be James’ lover. Horwood is a homeless-looking man attracted to Kenna. Nate, a deadbeat and Kenna’s babies’ daddy, constantly clashes with James. Felix is a middle-aged sleazeball. Ms. Lora is a financially strapped elder. Ulyssa is an attractive flight attendant. Calvin left his hometown to pursue a new career and life. Claudia is a motormouth who is attracted to Calvin.

About the Author

Ameedah Mawalin, whose aliases are Ramona Sapphire and Bodi, was born and raised in Chicago’s multi-cultural Hyde Park neighborhood. She enjoys writing short stories and novels on assorted topics based on experience, research, and, overall, imagination. She admits she’s a bit eccentric and quirky. Many of her stories comprise an element of inspiration and are outrageous, raunchy, mysterious, bizarre, insightful, or even simple, to say the least. Recently added to her repertoire of genres is spoof and cringe humor. Her fiction writing journey began in the early nineties. Additionally, Ameedah has been a spoken-word artist and performer since 1996 and dishes out a mean cup of coffee to her audiences upon popular demand. This signature piece is entitled Midnight Brew.
