About the Author

I am a retired primary teacher who grew up in Illinois and moved to Arizona as an adult. I loved my 36 years of teaching. Now, in retirement, I have a chance to share my love of nature through my photographs and my words. I love the desert, but I just missed moving to the ocean by a few hundred miles. I have always felt the pull of the waves and the uniqueness of the creatures that inhabit the ocean. I hope you will enjoy the ocean pictures and poems I offer to you. Maybe they will inspire you to visit and fall in love with the ocean too.
