Pedie, pronounced Petey (don't ask me why) is a country hound dog who lived on a big pond in upstate NY. You can meet Pedie in his debut book 'Pedie had a Friend'. Then you can travel with Pedie as he visits Alaska to learn to become a sled dog in 'Pedie and the Sled Dogs'. About the Author
Kimberly Archer is a retired art teacher who enjoys teaching part time, traveling to new destinations, writing, and working on her Pedie illustrations. Drawing the pictures for Pedie Goes to the Zoo was especially enjoyable, as she loves animals. Zoos play an important role in conserving and protecting endangered species. The author hopes her story will spark an interest in young readers, encouraging them to contribute to the health and ecology of our beautiful world and the animals that inhabit it. I would like to thank my talented friend, Leslie Archer, for helping me create this book.
