There are times when we sometimes think things will never get any better than this, we are feeling down and lack the strength to motivate ourselves into positive thinking. Do remember all our experiences in life good and bad are there for all of us to build on.

Never be afraid to complain, it is your right if you experience bad service, be it a product you have purchase, a service you have paid for or whatever it may be, if you feel that your rights have been infringed never be afraid to complain, no matter just how trivial the situation may be.
Do not get me wrong I hate complaining but unfortunately it is something that I am having to do more and more as we seem to now live in a World where people just do not value customers anymore. An example of a very bad experience I had resulted in a court victory against Mercedes-Benz. I like to say, “I wiped the floor with them” my experience proves that it is always worth while to complain. My bad experience with Mercedes-Benz happened when purchasing a new car for my business, the opportunity arose for me to collect my new car from the factory in Germany, now one would think that a company like Mercedes-Benz could get this right, NO, the whole experience was riddled with problems throughout from the flight, airport pickups the hotel and even at Mercedes-Benz collection center. This very poor standard of service from Mercedes-Benz lead me to write several letters of complaint, I even wrote one to the Company Director of Mercedes-Benz, and what kind of reply did I get back, a simple Yes we admit we made mistakes and got things wrong but we at Mercedes-Benz do not offer compensation.
When reading these words it was like a Red Rag to a bull, it angered me so much that I had just purchased a new car, Mercedes-Benz messed up and they had the arrogance to say, “We at Mercedes-Benz do not offer compensation”. Every reply I received from Mercedes-Benz carried words of arrogance, and lame excuses, but nothing solid and nothing to make me feel valued as a customer. I was not going to let Mercedes-Benz get away with treating me like this offering me shoddy service and attempting to fob me off with pathetic excuses, I did what I thought was right and took Mercedes-Benz to court and won.
It was so satisfying to stand up in court and defend myself and wipe the floor with their solicitor who may I say was a joke. I just though, Is that the best you can do Mercedes-Benz. I was very pleased to hear in the Judge’s summing up, his words, “Mercedes-Benz are not the motor company they used to be”. How true those words are. My experience left me with no doubt in my mind and the minds of my family and many of my friends that we would never purchase a Mercedes-Benz again as my experience proves that they just do not value their customers anymore.
Having a very high degree of confidence affords me the comfort to defend myself to in these unfortunate situations. As you develop your confidence you too will feel better able to defend and stand up for yourself when these situations arise.
