"If proof was ever needed that it is never too late to achieve your ambitions as a writer perhaps you may be interested in my experiences.

Obliged to retire early because of an old injury well before I felt I was ready to be put out to pasture I tinkered with a many forms of writing for a few years. I derived great pleasure and joy from the creation of stories and odes but did not seriously consider offering my work for publication.
