Ronnie De Canio, My Soul To Keep
When I started my publishing project, I approached the whole publishing endeavor with much wariness and trepidation. I knew nothing about self-publishing and, as my background was in traditional publishing, I could not relate to the concept.
As I tell everyone now, until recently, I kept waiting for some fly to jumpin the ointment. But, not only did your company produce a wonderful book for me, but you exceeded my expectations a hundredfold.
When I received the actual book I was amazed. Dealing with the galleys online did not prepare me for the professional work I held in my hands. Not only was my book published within three months; not only was every question answered and every need addressed; not only did my advocates respond in a timely manner to those questions and concerns - but most important - you treated me as though I were a New York Times best-selling author!
Many years ago I was the assistant to the President of Viking Press, when it was privately owned by his family. I know firsthand that authors - even the best-selling ones - are not always treated with the respect that I received from your company.
For a first-time author, that respect meant more than anything. My experience with AuthorHouse- as I tell everyone who asks questions about how I published the book - was absolutely terrific from beginning to end.
