Bad temper is a lift to regrettable heights When it has done its shoddy job, temper vaporizes into thin air, leaving behind a sober mind faced with a mammoth task of mopping up the mess. Mended relationships are patched and jointed by sewn stitches that are subject to wear and tear. Being subjected to such type of relationship is unfortunate, and if left unwatched, it could be destructive. A disaster is invariably fatal and being lifted to this level by bad temper is sincerely regretted. Regret is the aftermath of an outcome which eventually did not work as intended. Our intentions are often thwarted by the approach we take when confronted with situations. Confrontation is the biggest culprit in causing deterioration in dialogue. Failure to dialogue effectively causes tempers to flare. Flared tempers are not the best medicine to cure failed communication. When communication fails we resort to physical means and a fight breaks out.

Everson Mpofu is a poet, writer and IT consultant born in the Midlands country in Zimbabwe on 22 April 1966 . He is happily married to Bridget, and they are blessed with three beautiful children. His passion for creative writing dates back to his days in high school and propagated through out his working life.
