About the Book

Sgt. Francis DaVinci is a United States marine with a lot of problems, suffering from memory loss and PTSD. He is sent to France to assassinate a major target, but the long history of losing people he loved and cared about has clouded his judgment. Francis’s own personal vendetta of trying to find out what happened to his parents has made him a target of the people who want this mystery to stay unsolved. While Francis is being hunted, he meets a famous hip-hop and pop singer Riley Gonzales, a member of the number 1 girl group, Paradise; but a shocking betrayal may cost him everything. As Francis has his victim in his crosshairs, he and others will have to make a choice. Love or duty. Money or family. Live or die. A truth or a lie.

About the Author

T. A.L. Childers lives in York, South Carolina. He is a senior at York Comprehensive High School. He has wanted to be an author, since he was ten years old. He is an avid reader and loves to write. He has a vivid imagination and does lots of research. He has written many short stories and plays over the years. He loves military history and visiting historic military sites. He had planned to follow his grandfather into the Marine Corps. Majoring in English and Writing and Minor in Education so he can teach, and can share his love of reading and writing. His hobbies are writing stories, music and poetry, playing war games on his PlayStation3 and camping and fishing with the family.
