About the Book

This is a story of a young chick that is different from her siblings and finds herself separated from them because of it. She finds a friend to help her along her path of self-discovery and self-fulfillment.

About the Author

Growing up I always had a love for animals especially birds, I was always involved local bird clubs and had my own aviaries. I attended school and became a veterinary technician in order to pursue a passion, while grooming my mother's bird one day the idea for this story came about. Her bird is a part of our family she is basically our sibling, we took her in after she was thrown out of her nest because she had a constricted syndrome. That caused her toes not to form correctly we had them surgically removed and raised her since she was only 2 days old, now she is 13.
