About the Book

Broken down infrastructure; thieving and looting politicians; police brutality; soldiers beating up civilians; lack of constant supply of electricity; lack of access to clean, pipe-borne drinking water; lack of world-class health care; African nations ravaged by war and conflict, leaving lots of children dead; Boko Haram; poverty affecting a significant amount of the African populace, African children going hungry and even starving in a nation with “leaders”; young African Americans using the N word to address each other; significant amount of African Americans growing up in broken homes with little to no love and nurturing; black-on-black crime; drive-by shooting; African American babies growing up around guns, drugs, and violence. Redemption from within is calling out, pleading with us Africans to adjust our mentality.

About the Author

Ifeanyichukwu Uko is a hardworking young man that loves to see his community thrive in all positive aspects. Uko is also a registered nurse and he is committed to see his community lead healthy lives. Uko believes that the community can get a lot better if we adjust our mentalities and approach to how we treat each other, starting from the leaders, through to the populace. Uko possess a progressive mind and wants to see all of Africa record great success in curbing poverty, eradicating hunger and starvation in Africa, preventing diseases that have ravaged the lives of our men, women and children, respecting human rights, respect of life and property, because he believes Africans have what it takes to successfully self-govern and lead prosperous lives if only they can eschew systemic corruption and greed, thereby allowing the resources benefit the people. Uko also wants to see tremendous progress in our African American communities, by witnessing greatly reduced black on black crime, fathers and mothers that are actively and positively involved in their children’s lives, thereby producing a generation of responsible, hardworking and disciplined African American folks. Uko was born in Austin, Texas here in the United States and he grew up in Lagos, Nigeria. Ifeanyichukwu Uko is also the author of the book titled ‘Hot Trials’.
