About the Book

Meet Barkley and his friends, Larry the Lion, Guy the Gorilla, and many more in this delightful children’s interactive picture book.

Wendy wanted to make this book colorful and fun to children.  Not everyone will be lucky enough to visit certain animals in their natural habitats and maybe this will encourage children (our future) to treat all animals with the respect they deserve.  Animals are an important part of our natural world.

About the Author

Wendy Yarwood grew up in the South East of England.  She arrived in New York January 2000, and now lives in Brooklyn, New York with her husband Jay and their two cats Zipperty-Zooz and Max.  Barkley and other characters first came to life back in April 2003 in the form of greeting cards which she creates for friends and family.
