About the Book

GOD’S PRECIOUS LITTLE HANDS OF LOVE depicts lessons of life for children ages 6- through 10 based on the Word of God.  Each chapter expresses Jesus’ love in a different way, giving the readers an overall viewpoint of how we must love one another.  The lessons within each chapter clearly describe ways for children to live their lives for Jesus.

This book is designed to help develop a foundation for children to build upon throughout the duration of their Christian journey.  The first three chapters of the book are designed to teach children how to live righteous lives and to spread their love to change the world.  The last two chapters will introduce children to a deeper understanding of God’s love for mankind.  Children will learn that God loves them and wants to bless everyone.

About the Author

Lisa Shead was born in Austin, Texas in 1968, and spent most of her youth in San Antonio, Texas.  Early in her life, Lisa’s parents enrolled her in private schools.  Throughout elementary and high school, Lisa witnessed the moving of the Holy Spirit.  Soon Lisa began to nurture her spirituality by attending church and setting aside time for personal prayer and bible study.  She continued to nurture her spirituality upon entering college.

Her career interests in business led her to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Marketing, and later a Master’s degree in Business Administration.  Although Lisa experienced the joys and pains of life, she maintained her faith and spiritual beliefs.  Interestingly, while pursuing a career in business, Lisa realized that her deepest passion was in the field of education.  Now, Lisa is an elementary school teacher in San Antonio and is pursuing a Doctorate degree in Leadership Studies.

The book is a result of Lisa’s desire to teach young children how to live their lives as Christians.  Lisa was inspired by God to write this book and is hopeful that it will influence children to begin their own Christian journey.
