About the Book
This book is about 26 characteristics that have been proven to assist people in becoming better leaders. Too often leaders are leaders in title or position and not in reality. Many people in leadership positions continue to be a manager. The real budding leader is in the process of mastering the art of influence. These characteristics added to his/her ability to influence will only enhance their leadership ability, but also ease the leaders role in influencing others.

Hall has received several awards from the United States Air Force. They include The Meritorious Award, The Legion of Merit and the USAF Distinguished Service Award, the Air Force’s highest peacetime award. He has been honored by Gary Indiana with a Key to the City. He is an Honorary Citizen of East Saint Louis. In addition He has received the Award of Merit and Silver Beaver form the Boy Scouts of America. Other honors and awards include, NAACP Digital Divide Award, Steel City Hall of Fame inductee, Robert Allen Community Service Award, the Saginaw County Chamber of Commerce Spirit of Saginaw Award and the Rubin Daniels Community Service Award. In addition Hall is listed in several “Who’s Who” and other publications honoring people of achievement.
Hall is a life member of the NAACP, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and the Military Officers Association. He is also a 33º Mason. Hall is Co-Chairman of Saginaw County’s Promise, Chairman of Communities in Schools in
