About the Author

Prophetess Sonya L. McKenzie Badger was born in January 4, 1971, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Willie Daniels and Mary Ann McKenzie Miller. She is the mother of four children and many other spiritual children. Sonya was born to be a prophetess and minister to God’s people. Being raised by her grandmother, the late missionary Lonnie B. Lampkins Daniels, the Lord began to use Prophetess Badger at the age of four. Her grandmother would have prayer every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m., the result of this being that her home was well-kept spiritually and her granddaughter (Sonya) eventually became a prayer intercessor as well as a prophetess. At age sixteen, Prophetess Sonya Badger received the gift of the Holy Ghost on her grandmother’s porch, referring to it as the “Pentecost experience.” Prophetess Badger is a magnificent woman of God and has a magnificent man of God by her side. She is married to Apostle Athon K. Badger, the pastor and founder of Greater Emmanuel Apostolic Faith Church, where Prophetess Badger serves as Assistant Pastor. The Lord uses Prophetess Badger to minister the Word of God to people of all ages. She has been to several places to do so, such as Florida, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Bahamas, and Jamaica. She has her own women’s ministry, where she counsels women of different ages and backgrounds. She is full of compassion and has a heart that is after God’s own heart. She is truly a woman of God, and with her inspiring story, she testifies her overwhelming struggle and the triumph over that struggle through Christ. Prophetess Sonya Badger’s motto is “An Incredible God Deserves An Incredible praise."
