In the 1980s, he was a pioneer in the call center and telemarketing arena, having founded Telemarketing magazine (which, over the years, was renamed Customer Interaction Solutions and then CUSTOMER magazine). Tehrani also has led numerous other industry efforts and coauthored the book Taking Your Customer Care to the Next Level.
