About the Book

This book shines light on all siblings who are taught to help and understand their brother and/or sister with special needs; and even though they deserve the same attention, are at times overlooked or expected by the family to simply be patient. I want my children and others to know that although a special-needs family member requires a lot more attention and at times may seem unfair, you are just as important and appreciated, which makes you a super sibling. Thank you for all that you do.

About the Author

Genevieve Morejon-Lopez is a proud and busy mom who currently resides in South Florida. In 2006, her second child Ronald; was diagnosed with autism. Devastated by the unknown diagnosis; she researched – like any parent as much information as possible. She underwent the challenges that many parents of special needs children go through. Then five years later- the unexpected happened: she had a third child! With much fear during pregnancy, she worried if she would face the same challenge yet again; only to realize that Ronald would benefit, learn from and enjoy another sister. While she taught her daughters how to help and support their special sibling, she also learned through observation and experience how wonderful super siblings can interact and how important it is to still dedicate and acknowledge each child as an important individual.
