About the Author

Johnna Gurr M.S. LPC, is a practicing licensed professional counselor in Connecticut. She and her husband have four grown children who are actively engaged in living life. She is the author of Dueling Picket Fences, a Suspense Mystery, and currently writes for a local newspaper. For four years, Mrs. Gurr wrote a regular column, A Deacon’s Wife Reflects and Remembers, with the magazine, Deacon Digest. Other interests include watercolor painting, calligraphy, singing, reading and enjoying long walks with lovely evening sunsets. Paid in Chocolate, Tales from a Counselor’s Chair, is her second book.
