About the Book

This book is about two abandoned kittens that were found shortly after their birth, cared for by the author, and given a home with multiple other cats and kittens. This book is written for preschoolers, and it is intended to bring awareness of the importance of neutering and spaying pets and adopting these wonderful, lovable furry friends.

About the Author

L. Esparza has always loved and cared for injured animals. As a young girl, she took in cats, dogs, and birds. As an adult, she became a pediatric nurse. Today, she continues to take in and care for many abandoned and neglected cats and kittens from around her neighborhood. She is hoping someday to open a cat refuge home called Casa Refugio (House of Refuge) for all abandoned, stray, and feral cats and kittens.
