About the Book

This is my third book of poetry, but in meditation and prayer, the Lord let me know that these words are phrases of your testimonies. I brought you out and will continue as you keep my word and follow me daily, whether you like it or not. Yet the understanding will come, as it is now, from day to day, being used by the Holy Spirit within you.

About the Author

I was a quiet person and stayed to myself with one or two girlfriends. Kids would laugh at me and call me ugly names. I had a double tooth on the side of my gums. No boys would say anything to me. I was not what they called a pretty girl that could walk beside them. Somehow, deep down on the inside, my spirit held within the depths of my heart, “beauty is only skin deep but ugly is to the bones.” I wore least expensive clothes and sometimes my family did not have the money in order of getting my hair fixed but I went on to school, anyhow. Nappy headed and all growing in that attitude with a Christ like spirit.
