We in the fifth grade at Shepherd Academy have spent the year thinking, working, and struggling to grow our minds, bodies, and spirits. What you see in these pages are some of the fruits of all that labor. We very much hope that you enjoy reading it as much as we have enjoyed making it!

Jordan likes playing video games, soccer, making music, Spongebob, and Randall, the class’ pet lizard. He’d like to be a scientist and a DJ someday. Kassandra likes swimming, art, Snapchat, and Instagram. She’d like to know more about archaeology and zoology. Brian is an 11 year old with a lot of talent. He loves soccer, hates homework, and would like to be an interpreter someday. Bladimir loves sports, hates homework, and someday wants to be on TV. In the future, he would like to be an auto engineer, an aereonautical engineer, or a painter. Jarendi’s favorite candy is the Three Musketeers bar. She loves her dog, Snicker. She hates homework. Someday, she wants to be famous. She wants to be an architect someday. Xsiaha loves gymnastics, Musically, Instagram, and Snapchat. She has 6 brothers and sisters. She wants to know more about biology. Ashley loves her phone and her baby chicks. She dreams of being a zoologist by day and a Youtuber by night. Exzayvion hates homework and loves his mom’s sausage. He wants to be a barber, a race car driver, or a fashion model. Bethsi is a sports girl. She sends all her love to her parents. She is interested in being either a zoologist or a nurse practitioner. Maritza loves art and ice cream. She would love to be an artist, movie star, or a diva when she grows up. Sergio speaks three languages and loves animals. Someday, he wants to be a policeman. Geovani loves sports, God, and his parents. He’d like to be an archaeologist. Joshua loves video games and soccer. He is interested in a career in either archaeology or criminal justice. Yasmin likes gymnastics, her dogs, and Paris, France. She wants to be either an architect or an archaeologist. Obdulio loves sports, especially soccer. He wants to be a SCUBA diver. Mr. Newton loves giving homework, making kids think, and drinking coffee. He also plays the banjo and dreams of becoming a professional cat herder.
