Homework Time?

About the Book

Matilde is five years old. Just like a scientist she likes to watch insects and animals in nature. One day she makes a lot of small friends in her garden. Matilde does not know what homework means. So, in the garden, Matilde asked Lily Ann the ant, Lily Rider the spider and Lily White the butterfly to help her understand what homework is. They all feel proud to help her. When she goes home she can’t wait to start doing her homework.

About the Author

Sonia is Spanish and lives in London with her family. She has two lively boys of eight and nine years of age. She trained in Early Years Education in London . She currently studies Child Psychology at the University of East London. Her passion for children’s’ writing was sparked when she wrote a book for her boys, so that they could engage with fun materials that they had seen created for themselves as they enjoyed the process of learning to read.
