Mom It wasn’t the right time To tell you how strong you are It wasn’t the right time To tell you how loving you are It wasn’t the right time To tell you what a beautiful person you are It wasn’t the right time To realize what a sensitive person you are It wasn’t the right time To tell you how stubborn you could be It’s time and with no regrets I admired all It’s time, with no regrets And love you unconditionally With no regrets ABOUT THE BOOK: “After reading Mom, I wanted to say something like your words even as she was being placed in the ground.” “Mi changita, I love this poem because it reminds me of my daughter and for whatever reason I call my children changitos (monkeys).” After reading a few lines memories begin to form of days, months, and years prior when one enjoyed that moment in time. That is what these poems are about a chance to recall that minute when things, events, jokes, or hugs brought a smile, a tear or a laugh as you reflect inside your coconut.

About the Book
“Centered reminds me that I have many more roads to travel, many more things to achieve . . . and I will continue to be centered, being more responsible in order to achieve my goals and make my dreams come true!” As Willie G. spoke and read the words, following a discussion, his students began to understand what they had done wrong or why they were taking those actions. There was a feeling of relief and gratitude for this instructor that appeared to be more like a grandfather figure than a teacher. He had kept his word to not inform others unless the student was intending to injure himself/herself or another, and now the student would keep theirs. He used verses to make a statement about the situation, and now he wants to share these thoughts with others.
About the Author
What turned out to be a junior high school interest to impress friends and his English teachers has now become a passion since retiring from education. In addition, over the years, his words were used to humble and provide comfort as well as bring humor into those counselling moments that he had with students, friends and colleagues. These lines helped individuals view their circumstances in a different light that directed if not comfort them. Now, he has decided to share these words, terms, lines, and reflections.
