A Good Night Ringing laughter, song, and story, The music of the heart is our glory, Hosted by the bard of conviviality; Celebrated with elegant hospitality; Bonded with blood and camaraderie; Grateful are we for the good craic, For food, grog, and softer drink, For wit, wisdom, and heritage. To be for each a wise and gentle sage. Our souls soar on wings of celebration, To fly through night’s dread darkness, With story, song, and incantation. Life is good, it is, and getting better yet. For the goodness of God is around us And his creation stirs the soul to fete. We lift our arms in praise by chance, Unchained joy raises our feet in dance. Whatever life brings, foul or fair, Our very life is celebration and prayer.

About the Book
The poems in this book are as diverse as you can imagine. There are poems of Irish imagination as well as poems of triumph and sadness in tragedy. There are love poems and poems observing the vicissitudes of our curious society. There are poems that simply tell stories. There are poems that celebrate personal courage. There are poems of both lament and praise. And there are poems of internal reflection.
About the Author
He has wide visibility and respect on several community platforms. He is formerly a host of a local cable TV talk and interview show; a member of The Irish Writer’s Association, Dublin, Ireland., a member of The Irish – American Cultural Institute - USA, a member of the Irish American Artists and Writer’s Association, and the Montclair Write Group. He publishes a religious blog, The Sermon I Wish I Heard, that reaches 13,000 weekly readers. He is author of a monthly article for Ducas, a periodical of the Irish American Cultural Institute. His novel Loves Promises, was published serially in Ducas along with several short stories. In addition, he has published more than 500 articles on business, academic, sports, religious, and political issues.
