About the Author

Matthew "Maasaw" Howard has worked successfully in executive sales, public affairs, and customer service. As a Director, he has worked with Congressmen/women, Senators and Governors on legislative matters. He was ranked as a “Top Producer” for five (5) years consecutively as a Realtor. He successfully negotiated multi‐million‐dollar deals for private and corporate entities. He was born in Martinsburg, West Virginia. He served one tour of duty in the US Navy earning an Honorably discharged. For over twenty-five years he worked in customer service related fields, and served as a player and eventual Manager for a semi-pro baseball team. During this time, he was honing his skills as a writer by writing Civil War articles in local newspapers. In 2010, he worked for the US Govt. and deployed to Afghanistan as a Realty Specialist. He received the “Civilian Combat Award” for serving in an active combat zone as a civilian. He has traveled to (40) countries and has experienced many different cultures. He wrote his first published book in June of 2018 based on his experiences and what he would learn after acquiring a Pleistocene Period American Indian Ceremonial site. The book is titled “Adonvdo Yona” (Bear Spirit) Mountain, “An Ancestral Awakening.”
