Black Girls are lost. Black women are the most unprotected beings on Earth; and in America. Rape, mental illness, poverty, domestic violence, and sexual abuse plague our communities and we suffer the most.

About the Author

Marie Ali is a published poet, writer, author and essayist. The author has been reading since the age of 2 1/2, writing since the age of 5, and the daughter of two published authors: a secretary and psychologist.
